Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Local 116

 

For over 55 years, Local 116 has supplied the construction industry in Nova Scotia with skilled workers. As part of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers, we strive to meet the ever changing demands of the industrial and commercial insulation industry through our apprenticeship program and mechanic upgrading classes.

Our members put safety as a top priority and adhere to a "Professional Craftsman Code of Conduct" in order to maintain the highest level of quality workmanship in the industry.

 

Local 116 continues to defend the rights of our membership as our past members have through LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION, and SOLIDARITY.
